Terms of Service
The plain-English terms for using our free scanner and paid services.
Last updated November 3, 2026
01About these terms
These terms cover your use of accessaisle.com, the free accessibility scanner and the paid services we offer. AccessAisle is run by Bilal Burney, Karachi, Pakistan. By using the site, you agree to these terms.
02The free scan
The free scan runs automated checks against WCAG 2.2 AA on up to four public pages of a store. Automated tools find only some accessibility issues, so a good score doesn’t mean a store is fully accessible or conforms to any law or standard.
The scan, the score and the report are information, not legal advice. For legal questions, talk to a lawyer.
03Fair use
Please don’t:
- Use the scanner to overload, attack or probe a website.
- Try to get around rate limits, bot checks or other protections.
- Scan pages that need a login or contain private information.
- Resell or republish reports as your own product without our permission.
We may block scans or access that break these rules. Our scanner’s behaviour is described on About our scanner bot.
04Paid services
Audits, fixes and monitoring are described on our pricing section. Before any paid work starts, we agree the scope, price and timeline with you in writing, and that written agreement sets out what’s included, payment and refunds.
When we fix your store, we work toward WCAG 2.2 AA conformance for the pages and issues in scope, and show you the before and after. We can’t guarantee that a store will never face a complaint or legal claim, and we don’t promise that it will.
05Ownership
- Your store, content and code stay yours.
- You may use your reports however you like inside your business.
- Code changes we make to your theme become yours once the work is paid for in full.
- The AccessAisle name, logo, website and scanner stay ours.
06Limits of liability
The free scanner is provided as is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost sales or profits.
For paid work, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for that work in the previous 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
07Privacy
How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.
08Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
